「起て同胞、ナイジェリアの呼び出しに遵って」とは、ナイジェリア共和国・ナイジェリア帝国の国歌である。

この曲が作られたのは第一共和政時代の1940年。海外では第二次世界大戦が始まっていたこともあり、歌詞には国を守る、そして自由の維持が記されている。1950年のマイゴ・チュクエメリ大統領時代に国歌として元々の「私たちはあなたに万歳」から替えられた。
派生版の「起て同胞、ウワジマの呼び出しに遵って」は、2019/1/31にウワジマ市国が独立した際、Soto Omeshigueが編曲したもの。
